Youth Field Hockey Drop In - Drop In Field Hockey
Gorham recreation fall field hockey is open to all levels of field hockey for girls in grades 1-5. We will primarily be scrimmaging and working on learning the rules and strategy of the game. We will meet weekly on Tuesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm and will split into smaller scrimmage groups based on skill/experience level.
For more information contact Shara Groom at shara@linscottphoto.com. She will be coordinating and running the sessions. She played field hockey through the collegiate level and has a daughter in 4th grade who plays and loves field hockey. Our goal in starting the rec program is to provide additional opportunities to play field hockey in order to gain experience and practice. If you are interested in volunteering and helping, please let me know.

Grinders- Youth Running Program - Grinders - Fall Running Program
Come join the fun as passionate running coaches help promote the sport of running for youth in grades K-5th.This program will consist of 7 practice sessions and we hope to add in a couple of mock races with other communities. Practices will be held at the field behind Narragansett Elementary School from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday nights. Nothing is required except a good pair of running shoes and a positive attitude. P.S. T'ai Chi - T'ai Chi Punch Pass
The Tai Chi classes will focus on a set of "fun" exercises that involve light stretching, Qi Gong (Chi Kung) breathing exercises, and a basic introductory form. Students will leave at the end of each class feeling more relaxed with a calm peace of mind.

Youth Field Hockey Drop In - Drop In Field Hockey
Gorham recreation fall field hockey is open to all levels of field hockey for girls in grades 1-5. We will primarily be scrimmaging and working on learning the rules and strategy of the game. We will meet weekly on Tuesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm and will split into smaller scrimmage groups based on skill/experience level.
For more information contact Shara Groom at shara@linscottphoto.com. She will be coordinating and running the sessions. She played field hockey through the collegiate level and has a daughter in 4th grade who plays and loves field hockey. Our goal in starting the rec program is to provide additional opportunities to play field hockey in order to gain experience and practice. Grinders- Youth Running Program - Grinders - Fall Running Program
Come join the fun as passionate running coaches help promote the sport of running for youth in grades K-5th.This program will consist of 7 practice sessions and we hope to add in a couple of mock races with other communities. Practices will be held at the field behind Narragansett Elementary School from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday nights. Nothing is required except a good pair of running shoes and a positive attitude. P.S. We are in need of parent volunteer coaches if you are interested.
