Field Hockey


Gorham recreation fall field hockey is open to all levels of field hockey for girls in grades 1-5. We will primarily be scrimmaging and working on learning the rules and strategy of the game. We will meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm and will split into smaller scrimmage groups based on skill/experience level.

For more information contact Shara Groom at shara@linscottphoto.com. She will be coordinating and running the sessions. She played field hockey through the collegiate level and has a daughter in 3rd grade who plays and loves field hockey. Our goal in starting the rec program is to provide additional opportunities to play field hockey in order to gain experience and practice. If you are interested in volunteering and helping, please let me know.
