This recreation program is offered for boys and girls in grades K-5, all skill levels. There are no try outs or cuts in recreation youth baseball. All players receive a team shirt and hat.These programs are run by volunteer coaches who work closely with the kids to help them improve their skills and build self esteem. Emphasis is placed on teaching sportsmanship, FUNdamentals rules of the game with safety being our priority.Without our volunteer coaches, these programs cannot be offered.  Please consider volunteering to coach. We have numerous tools for you to access at the Rec department to make coaching easy and stress free….or almost!  Go ahead and take on the clipboard, Coach!  You’ll be glad you did.Divisions are broken down into the following:Kindergarten - Tee ball1st/2nd Grade Boys - Coach Pitch1st/2nd Grade Girls - Coach Pitch3rd/4th/5th Grade Boys - Baseball3rd/4th/5th Grade Girls - No program offered due to lack of registrations. We encourage all of the interested girls to play Little League. Registration for Little League ends March 1st. Registration link is posted below.Challengers - Kindergarten/12th Grade Boys and Girls with intellectual and physical challenges to enjoy the benefits of little league participation in an environment adapted to their abilities.Teams and practice days will be assigned when registration closes.NOTEYouth Sports registrations must be submitted on time to be considered registered for the activity. When there are late registrations, which will be subject to an addition late fee of $25, it is very difficult for us to ensure both equipment and t-shirt orders are correct and on time; volunteer coaches have been secured for the proper amount of teams needed, roster sizes are not too large or too small to assure your child’s experience is a good one; programs can be cancelled due to lack of registrations when, sometimes, last minute registrations would have been enough to have the program not get cancelled. We appreciate your understanding of our need to encourage on time registration for the betterment of all our players, volunteers and families. Thank you.
