Swing Like a Pro with Ken Joyce - Swing Like a Pro Come out and join us for the Swing Like a Pro softball/baseball batting camp!Longtime professional baseball coach Ken Joyce is offering a 3-day batting camp for youth softball & baseball players ages 8-12 on July 21, 22 & 23 from 9 am to 12 noon at the Gorham High School Softball FieldThe price for the 3-day camp is $180 and campers are responsible to bring a bat, helmet, glove, batting gloves (if used), water bottle & snack. Joyce, a University of Southern Maine and Maine Baseball Hall of Famer, has served in pro baseball dating back to the mid-90’s, having worked for the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, and Florida Marlins organizations.All participants must fill out the waiver below and send it back to Travis - tgrant@gorham.me.us

Summer Track - Summer Track Join Gorham Rec for this exciting program that is part of the USA Track and Field (USATF) Summer track series. Meets take place at various locations across Southern Maine and will take place during the day on Thursdays. The goal of the Gorham Summer Track Club is to introduce children to physical fitness through basic events like walking, running, jumping, and throwing. The program staff also strives to encourage children to reach their potential and develop a sense of accomplishment. If you’re a kid between the ages of 5 and 15 (15 y/o by Dec 31st, 2025) who wants to have fun outdoors, or if you’re a parent trying to encourage healthy habits, the Gorham Summer Track Club is made for you!*Once registered with Gorham Rec, athletes will need to register with USATF on the USATF website(https://usatf.sport80.com/public/wizard/a/941/home) pay the $32.00 youth membership fee and join Gorham Rec's Club

Adult Coed Softball - Coed Adult Softball - No Sponsor We are excited for another great summer session of adult softball!If you are interested in putting in a team this year or getting placed on a team please let Travis know ASAP, as we need team rosters and placements soon. Games are Co-ed. Each team is able to play up to 5 Males and 5 Females at a time. No less than 4 Males or 4 Females can be on the field at any given time without penalty. We are tentatively looking to start our season the week of June 16th (Dependent on the High School Season). Games will be on weekday evenings, and we will have a 7 game season plus playoffs.
