Castle Hill on the Crane Estate - Ipswich, MA • Register • View Cart •

Experience the grandeur of this marvelous seaside estate! This 2100-acre National Historic Landmark encompasses salt marshes, beaches, a wildlife refuge, and Castle Hill, an enormous mansion built in the 1920s overlooking Ipswich Bay. Our trip will begin with a one-hour guided tour of the mansion and grounds. After learning about the history of the estate, we will have some free time to explore the property. Sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are highly recommended. We will be stopping for lunch on our way back home (on your own). You won't want to miss this impressive display of architectural and cultural history!

Please meet at the Gorham Rec Office by 7:45 AM.
