The Gorham Police Department is teaming up with the Gorham Fire Department

camp to host their 6th annual camp where campers will learn and work with police officers and fire fighters in a structured team environment. Campers will learn what it takes to be a police officer and fire fighter through their core values, integrity, leadership, courage, and honor. Campers will work in teams to learn marching practice and receive presentations from Police Canines, Bomb Squad, Crime Scene Units, Game Wardens, Life Flight Helicopter, Coast Guard, as well as learn first aid. Speakers will be from the District Attorney’s Office, Chief Sanborn and Chief Fickett. The Cadet Camp will be more hands on experiences with extrication, vehicles fires, wear SCBA’s, water rescues.

Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, ID card and water bottle.

Camp Dates:

July 8th - July 12th for Grades 4-5

August 12th - 16th for grades 6-8
