The Gorham Police Department is teaming up with the Gorham Fire Department
to host their 6th annual camp where campers will learn and work with police officers and fire fighters in a structured team environment. Campers will learn what it takes to be a police officer and fire fighter through their core values, integrity, leadership, courage, and honor. Campers will work in teams to learn marching practice and receive presentations from Police Canines, Bomb Squad, Crime Scene Units, Game Wardens, Life Flight Helicopter, Coast Guard, as well as learn first aid. Speakers will be from the District Attorney’s Office, Chief Sanborn and Chief Fickett. The Cadet Camp will be more hands on experiences with extrication, vehicles fires, wear SCBA’s, water rescues.Instructors SRO Mark Sanborn/SRO Todd Gagnon/SRO Cunningham/FF Dale Leighton and members of the Gorham Police and Fire Departments
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, ID card and water bottle.*Registration opens 3/31/25 at 7:00am
Camp Dates:
July 14th - July 18th for Grades 4-5
August 4th - 8th for grades 6-8
